A 16-year-old boy reportedly took his father’s life at their rented home in Noida before ending his own life by jumping in front of a metro train at Sector 52 station, according to police reports released on Friday. The incident has shocked the local community as details continue to emerge.

his father’s body was recovered from their rented room only late Thursday night, news agency PTI reported While the teenager’s death at the metro station was reported shortly after it happened. Metro staff and security personnel immediately rushed to the spot and took the teenager to a nearby hospital. Police are now investigating the circumstances that led to the alleged killing and the teenager’s subsequent death.

The PTI report added that his mother had separated from his father after the Covid-19 pandemic and had been living separately.
