On Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the youth of India to take an active role in the upcoming national Census. He emphasized the importance of their participation in shaping the future of the nation.
“These days, the country is conducting the Census. The counting is underway. And counting is not merely about numbers. The details help shape policies and schemes. They help the country prepare its roadmap for development.
Therefore, it is very important that we have accurate information,” he said. Addressing the youth of the country on August 15 , PM Modi said, “I am asking all of you for your help.
The prime minister said the process of data collection has been made public and the citizens can upload their own information online. “Now that technology is available, a decision has been taken that you can also provide your Census information yourself through your mobile phone,” he said.
