The Maharashtra CET Cell has announced the schedule for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for MHT CET Counselling 2026. Candidates must complete the seat acceptance, fee payment, and institute reporting by the specified deadlines. For CAP Round II, the seat acceptance process is open from August 13 to August 18, 2026, until 3 PM. Candidates can confirm their admissions and report to institutes until 5 PM on the same day.
Important Dates for CAP Round III Admissions
The provisional vacant seat list for CAP Round III will be published on August 19. Candidates can submit their option forms from August 20 to 22, with provisional allotments announced on August 24.
Candidates who receive a seat for the first time in Round II must complete self-verification of their allotment and pay the seat acceptance fee online. Those allotted seats within their top three preferences and who choose to freeze their admission will not be eligible for subsequent rounds. Alternatively, candidates who receive seats outside their top three preferences can opt for no freeze or betterment options.
After accepting the seat, candidates must report to the allotted institute with documents. The institute will verify documents, confirm admission online and issue system-generated receipt.
