After concluding his hunger strike, student leader Devendra Nath Mahto announced on Tuesday that he will now prioritize exam reforms and the establishment of a secure recruitment system. He revealed that he has developed a detailed blueprint for these initiatives, which he plans to present to the Jharkhand government.
Government Cancels TDPL Recruitment Results Amid Protests
The government has annulled the results released by the Tata Development and Promotion Limited (TDPL) regarding candidate selection for recruitment examinations. All activities conducted by TDPL in this context have also been cancelled.
This decision came after student leader Mahto concluded a hunger strike at Sadar Hospital in Ranchi, which was part of a larger student-led protest addressing grievances related to the recruitment examination process. Mahto ended his hunger strike following the announcement of the cancellations by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, in the presence of Jharkhand Ministers Dipika Pandey Singh and Irfan Ansari.
