Jogi Ramesh, a senior leader of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), is facing political scrutiny following a family dispute involving his son Rajeev and daughter-in-law Meghana. Ramesh has publicly defended his family, claiming that the marital issue is being exploited as a political campaign against him. This development has sparked discussions about the intersection of personal matters and political maneuvering in Andhra Pradesh.

Ramesh Comments on Rajeev and Meghana’s Marriage Dispute
Ramesh stated that efforts were made to reconcile the differences between Rajeev and Meghana following their marriage. He noted that Rajeev later filed for divorce but emphasized that Meghana is still considered “like a daughter” to him.
Ramesh Denies Conversion Allegations Amid Political Tensions
Ramesh has firmly rejected allegations regarding the conversion of his family to Christianity. He questioned, “Is it wrong if my wife reads the Bible or listens to the teachings of Jesus Christ?” He emphasized that his family honors all religions and actively participates in Hindu rituals and temple visits.
He further claimed that deceptive videos, audio clips, and AI-generated content have been spread to damage his family’s reputation. Ramesh indicated that these attacks intensified following the return of the TDP-led government.
Despite the accusations, he expressed readiness to confront any political fallout, asserting, “Jogi Ramesh will never do anything wrong. I am ready to face anything politically.” He argued that political disputes should focus on substantive issues rather than personal matters.
