The woman, identified as Vishnumaya, was around two to two-and-a-half months pregnant. Police said she died after consuming the poisoned drink, allegedly given to her by her boyfriend in Mumbai

The autopsy revealed that Vishnumaya had died after consuming poison, prompting investigators to revisit the circumstances surrounding her death, according to police. The woman, identified as Vishnumaya, was around two to two-and-a-half months pregnant. Ashish also lived with them. Following the woman’s death, police took custody of the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination. At first, there appeared to be nothing suspicious about the case. Based on the information available at the time and statements given by those around her, police registered an accidental death report. The police subsequently began questioning people connected to the victim. During the probe, officers learned about her relationship with Ashish.

Police said she later died after consuming the poisoned drink, allegedly given to her by her boyfriend, Ashish Magar, in Mumbai’s Chembur area. Vishnumaya lived there with her aunt, according to police.

Health Crisis Escalates After Initial Symptoms

A woman began to experience severe health issues soon after feeling unwell and vomiting. Initially, her family believed her symptoms were temporary and not a cause for concern. However, her condition deteriorated rapidly, culminating in her collapse.
