CTET Exam Date 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has provided candidates who have already submitted their CTET application forms an opportunity to correct certain details in their applications. The CTET 2026 application correction window is currently open and will close tomorrow, September 10.
Candidates who applied earlier, when the application window was open from May to June, can also make corrections to their forms, wherever applicable, through the official website, ctet.nic.in .
However, following a Supreme Court ruling, the examination was postponed, and candidates were given another opportunity to apply. The CBSE noted that the Supreme Court has “emphasised the need to afford eligible teachers a reasonable opportunity to comply with the statutory requirement of acquiring the prescribed TET qualification. Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking.
The exam was earlier scheduled for September 2026.
