Badruddin Ajmal, the chief of the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), expressed strong confidence on Wednesday regarding his chances in the upcoming Nagaon Lok Sabha bypoll. Ajmal aims to secure a return to Parliament through this election.

“I will work for everyone, for minorities as well as the majority. There are lakhs of issues facing Muslims, but the majority community also has many issues. “Education will be the number one priority.

Ajmal said he would work for everyone and not only for minorities. We should not talk only about minorities while the problems of the majority remain unaddressed,” he said. Ajmal said education, healthcare and flood and erosion-related issues would be among his priorities. Healthcare, river embankments and other major issues will also be taken up on a priority basis,” he said.
