A total of 35,500 kilometres will be covered as 20 teams travel from Vadnagar in Gujarat to Varanasi and back to Vadnagar from September 17 to October 7 as part of a first-of-its-kind motorcycle Yatra centred on ‘Seva’ (service).

This initiative unites efforts in Seva, Sampark, youth engagement, social welfare, cultural connections, and community mobilization, effectively spreading grassroots initiatives across various locations.
Community Engagement Through Yatra Activities
The ongoing Yatra is actively engaging with communities across towns, districts, talukas, and villages. Seva Yatris are conducting various activities tailored to local needs, including cleanliness drives at public areas such as ponds, temples, schools, parks, and hospitals.
In addition to these efforts, the Yatris are connecting with residents through beneficiary interactions, youth dialogues, and Gram Sabha samvad. The initiative also features Gau Seva and tree plantation campaigns under the theme ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’.
At PM SHRI Schools, Yatris are involved in cleaning school campuses, interacting with students, and distributing books and stationery. They are also visiting hospitals, orphanages, and old-age homes to provide support to those in need.
The initiative recognizes the contributions of ASHA workers and distributes kits to widows while fostering community togetherness through various welfare activities. The emphasis on ‘sampark’ (connect) facilitates direct dialogue with young individuals, local leaders, and beneficiaries of government schemes, allowing the teams to better understand community aspirations and raise awareness at the grassroots level.
