Virat Kohli has expressed strong support for Shubman Gill, praising the young captain’s perspective and intensity ahead of India’s first ODI against the West Indies on Sunday. Speaking to JioStar, Kohli acknowledged that while Gill is still learning in his role, he possesses the qualities necessary to lead the Indian team effectively. Kohli stated, “Shubman, the captain, is still learning. He is still young in the role, but he has got the right perspective and the right kind of intensity to lead the Indian team.” This endorsement comes as the team prepares for the upcoming series.

Kohli believes that if he stays till the end, the team can easily reach 350 to 360.
