Union Minister JP Nadda was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi for a coronary angiography after feeling unwell on Thursday evening, according to a hospital statement. The procedure follows reports of uneasiness experienced by the minister, although further details about his condition have not been disclosed.

The minister is currently stable and has been admitted to the Department of Cardiology at AIIMS for observation, the hospital added. Nadda, who is also the Union health and family welfare minister, was evaluated and underwent several tests, including a coronary angiography, on August 13, a statement from AIIMS said, reported news agency ANI. “Shri JP Nadda, Hon’ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare was evaluated for uneasiness with tests including a coronary angiography on the evening of 13th August 2026.

He is currently stable and admitted for observation in the Dept of Cardiology,” the AIIMS statement said.
