IIT Bombay has launched a new e-Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence (CS & AI) for learners looking to build skills in computer science as well as artificial intelligence.
New AI and Machine Learning Curriculum for Students
Students are now required to complete six courses as part of a new curriculum focused on Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. This program mandates that students take at least two courses each from the Computer Science and the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning groups.
The curriculum will delve into various cutting-edge topics within AI and machine learning, including Generative AI, large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), reinforcement learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and deep learning.
New Computer Science Program Targets Software Developers and IT Professionals
A new computer science program will cover essential topics such as algorithms, blockchain, web and software security, cryptography, network security, and big data systems. This initiative is designed for software developers, engineers, IT professionals, data scientists, and recent graduates who possess a foundational understanding of computer science.
