Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, staged a protest outside a police station alongside pellet gun victim Sahil Lochab and his mother after police refused to file a First Information Report (FIR). The demonstration took place in response to the alleged excessive use of force by police and paramilitary forces during recent student protests.
The Delhi Police informed Gandhi that the Supreme Court has established a High-Powered Expert Committee (HPEC) to investigate these allegations. In a post on X, the Congress party reiterated their commitment to supporting students and demanded justice, stating, “We will not be silent. Dharna at DCP office till FIR is filed.”
