Chhattisgarh has taken a significant step in advancing the PM GatiShakti initiative by signing two important Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). The agreements were made with the Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG-N) and the National Logistics Data Services Ltd (NLDSL). These collaborations aim to strengthen the implementation of logistics and infrastructure development in the state.

The event was jointly organised by the Department of Commerce & Industries, Government of Chhattisgarh; and the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India. Officials from DPIIT, NLDSL, and participating states attended the session to examine the operationalisation and broader application of PM GatiShakti and LEADS initiatives. Highlighting the role of the initiative, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai noted the structural changes in state-level infrastructure planning.

The signing took place during the PM GatiShakti & LEADS 2025 Dissemination Workshop held in Raipur.

“PM GatiShakti is strengthening data-driven decision-making in Chhattisgarh, enabling us to plan infrastructure more effectively, identify connectivity and logistics gaps, and support better-aligned industrial development,” said Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. “This is helping create stronger conditions for investment and sustainable economic growth.”
