When pointed out that Pakistan was not mentioned by name in the New Delhi Declaration, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said: “That is something for the Government of India, and particularly for the Foreign Ministry, to talk about. “We condemn in the strongest terms the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April 2025, during which 26 people were killed and many more injured,” the BRICS leaders said in a joint statement.
