A retired Army officer and his wife were reportedly murdered in their home near the Agra bypass. Police confirmed that both victims were hacked to death with a sharp-edged weapon. The incident was reported on Sunday, and authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this violent act.

The bodies of Shamsuddin, 58, and his wife Saddo Begum, 55, were found lying in a pool of blood at their house in the Sadabad Kotwali area. The incident took place during the night and the bodies were discovered around 9.30 am on Sunday when the house did not open and people raised an alarm, following which police were subsequently informed, according to the police. Shamsuddin had retired from the Army around 20 years ago.
Necessary legal action is being taken,” the SP said. Police said he had two wives and used to stay with them alternately.
He said the motive behind the killings was not immediately clear and five teams had been formed to identify the perpetrators and solve the case.
Police Launch Investigation at Crime Scene
Superintendent of Police Chiranjeev Nath Sinha and Circle Officer Yogendra Krishna Narayan arrived at the crime scene to conduct an inspection. They were accompanied by police personnel. Forensic experts and a dog squad were also deployed to aid in the ongoing investigation.
