A Class 5 student at a government-run school in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna allegedly put urine in a water bottle and made two of his female classmates drink it. When the girls objected and reported the matter to the principal, they were allegedly told to eat a ₹ 10 chocolate to get rid of the unpleasant taste, an official said.

Protests Erupt at Guna District School Following Incident

An incident occurred on Monday at a primary school in the Aron development block of Guna district, prompting authorities to initiate an inquiry. The principal received a notice as part of the investigation, according to news agency PTI.

On Tuesday, families of the two affected girls, accompanied by local villagers, gathered at the school to protest. They demanded accountability for the incident and raised slogans against the alleged culprits and the school administration. The protesters also locked the school campus in a show of solidarity.

Manjusha Khatri, the sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) of Aron, confirmed that both the tehsildar and the block education officer (BEO) were dispatched to the school following reports of the incident. She stated, “I have ordered an investigation. This entire mischief was committed by a student in the same class. His parents and the child are being summoned. A notice has been issued to the principal.”
