Students protesting against the 70th Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination broke through barricades while marching towards Raj Bhavan from Gandhi Maidan in Patna on Tuesday, demanding cancellation of the examination over alleged irregularities. Protests Erupt as Students Demand Action on Exam Results
Protests have escalated in response to ongoing concerns regarding exam results, with Tejashwi Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal lending its support to the demonstrations. Fourteen student and youth organizations, including the Revolutionary Youth Association, SSAI, and Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Morcha, have also joined the movement.
In light of the growing unrest, the Chief Minister announced the introduction of ‘Vidyarthi Sahyog Shivir’ (student support camps) aimed at addressing student grievances. These monthly camps are expected to provide a platform for students to voice their concerns and seek assistance regarding their educational challenges.
