The University of Delhi (UoD) has introduced its Financial Support Scheme (FSS) for the academic year 2026-27. This initiative, announced by the Office of the Dean’s Students Welfare (DSW), aims to assist students in managing their educational expenses. Eligible students will receive fee waivers based on their family income, providing crucial financial relief.
DU has announced the Financial Support Scheme for the session 2026-27. The last date to submit the application form is October 13, 2026.
The university stated that the schedule for submitting printed application forms and supporting documents offline will be announced separately on the DSW website. This scheme is open to full-time bonafide students studying in Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes in any department, institute or centre of Delhi University. However, students who are enrolled in colleges, B.Tech. programmes, five-year integrated law programmes, the School of Open Learning (SOL) and the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) are not eligible to apply. Students who have an Essential Repeat (ER) in any previous examination are also excluded from the scheme. Students are advised to regularly check the website for further updates.
