UGC NET Re-Exam 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday issued a travel advisory for candidates appearing for the UGC NET 2026 re-examinations on September 9 and 10 in Delhi. Extensive security arrangements are being made, while traffic diversions and restrictions are expected to be imposed by the Delhi Traffic Police and other concerned authorities in various parts of the city in connection with the 18th BRICS Summit, scheduled to be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from September 11 to 13.
Candidates Warned of Potential Delays for UGC NET Exams in Delhi
The testing agency has informed candidates that while UGC NET examination centres are not in areas likely to be directly impacted by major restrictions, those traveling to centres in Delhi should prepare for possible traffic congestion and delays. Security and traffic management measures may cause diversions on certain routes.
Candidates are strongly urged to follow the reporting times and instructions provided on their admit cards. To ensure a smooth journey, it is recommended that they make travel arrangements in advance and plan their routes accordingly.
Traffic Advisory for Examination Days
The NTA has issued a traffic advisory for candidates planning to attend examinations on September 9 and 10. Due to expected traffic restrictions in the city, candidates may experience longer travel times. To ensure timely arrival at their examination centres, the NTA recommends that candidates check their routes in advance and allow for extra travel time. Starting early is also advised to mitigate potential delays.
