The Cockroach Janta Party has announced the withdrawal of its planned march on September 5. CJP Cancels Planned March Following Government Assurances
The Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) has decided to withdraw its planned peaceful march from India Gate to the Delhi Police Headquarters, originally scheduled for September 5. CJP co-convener Das informed the court of this decision, citing positive assurances from the Government of India and the judicial order issued today.
This decision comes after the CJP had announced the march on August 24 in response to the government’s failure to fulfill commitments made on July 25. The organization now looks forward to compliance with the court’s order.
