Police Arrest Suspects in Cyber Fraud Case

Police have arrested two suspects, Zaid and Ghani Khan, involved in a cyber fraud scheme that utilized a bank account registered in Trilokpuri under the name Sunny. During the investigation, authorities traced the money trail to this account, which was allegedly used to receive proceeds from cyber fraud in exchange for a commission.

Sunny’s mobile phone has been recovered and is currently being analyzed for digital evidence, including chats and account-related materials. Further investigation into bank records, ATM withdrawal activities, and mobile data led police to Zaid and Ghani Khan, who were allegedly responsible for collecting and transporting bank account-opening kits and ATM cards from Delhi for use in the fraudulent network.

The suspects were apprehended near Nizamuddin, and a white car they used for their operations was also seized by police.

Judicial Custody for Accused as Investigation Expands

The three individuals accused in the ongoing investigation have been placed in judicial custody. Authorities are now intensifying efforts to uncover additional mule accounts, trace the full money trail, and identify other potential members of the alleged network. The investigation aims to fully understand the extent of the operations linked to these individuals.
