On Wednesday, Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant expressed strong disapproval of a notice sent to a student by the Greater Noida Executive Magistrate. The notice was issued after the student allegedly participated in a protest organized by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. CJI Kant questioned the authority of the official, asking how they could ‘dare to do’ such a thing.
