The Cockroach Janta Party on Sunday has called on the Centre to fulfill the commitments made to the pressure group as part of the bid to end the protests at Jantar Mantar.
CJP Warns Government Against Breaking Promises to Youth
The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has issued a strong statement emphasizing that the government must honor its commitments to India’s youth. The CJP criticized the administration for making promises to end a peaceful movement, only to potentially renege on those promises once public demonstrations subside. In their official statement, the party declared, “We will not allow the Government to insult an entire generation by making promises… and then attempting to wriggle out of those very promises.”
Additionally, the CJP announced plans to convene on August 24 to discuss its next steps and hinted at the possibility of renewed protests if their demands are not met.
“We therefore request students, young citizens, supporters and CJP volunteers across the country to remain prepared for what’s next on August 24,” the group added.
