The athlete won two silver medals in the 800m and 1500m events. Bains has also won a gold medal at the Asian Indoor Championships. She was also the national record holder in the 1500m before her mark was eclipsed. Bains has now started a new innings away from the race track. The athlete has joined the popular reality show ‘Roadies’.

Neha Dhupia, Nikhil Chinapa, and Prince Narula are part of the show as ‘gang leaders’. Bains, who impressed everyone with her physical fitness, opted to join Gurbani Judge’s team. I was almost in depression. Thoughts were coming in my mind, like suicide and just quitting everything, run away from my city.
Because i was under stress after missing my Olympics, “My message is enjoy your sport, don’t be so stressed,.
My message to the parents is to let your child do whatever they want to and to the youngsters it is never too late to change your sport, your profession just enjoy whatever it is you’re doing,” Harmilan Bains told IANS.
