DP World has confirmed it will continue as title partner of the DP World India Championship

Red-hot Spaniard Eugenio Chacarra won his fourth DP World Tour title on Sunday with a two-shot

The move aligns with DP World’s broader commitment to the DP World Tour after a new long-term partnership agreement, the largest in the Tour’s history, was announced last year. The championship currently offers the largest prize fund for a DP World Tour event held in India. DP World has confirmed it will continue as title partner of the DP World India Championship until 2035, extending its commitment to the tournament as the second edition of the USD 4 million event concludes in New Delhi. The deal extended DP World’s role as Title Partner and Official Logistics Partner through to 2035.

The DP World India Championship underlines India’s growing influence as a destination for elite golf and as a strategic market for DP World. The DP World India Championship is co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI). The original title partnership, which began in 2022 and saw the European Tour rebranded as the DP World Tour, has played a key role in making the game more inclusive and globally connected. The extended title partnership will ensure the event remains a fixture on the Race to Dubai calendar through 2035. Extending our support of the DP World India Championship to 2035 puts it alongside our title partnership of the DP World Tour for the next decade. The inaugural DP World India Championship in 2025, won by former Race to Dubai champion and European Ryder Cup star Tommy Fleetwood, also marked the DP World Tour’s return to Delhi Golf Club for the first time since 2016.

Yuvraj Narayan, Group Chief Executive Officer of DP World, said: “India is one of the most important markets in global trade, and we want to be here for the long term.

With DP World becoming the title and official umbrella partner of the DP World PGTI earlier this year, the tournament complements the company’s wider sporting footprint in India, which includes partnerships with the Delhi Capitals men’s and women’s teams and grassroots initiatives aimed at growing the game through equipment donations and facility improvements.
