Gaurav Gala, Executive Editor, Sports, NDTV, highlighted the symbolism of the arena and the heritage behind it ahead of action on Saturday. “Extremely unique. History and a lot of heritage. There is also the historic Golconda Fort. The players at the event are in for a very picturesque round of golf. Every leg is a full-day experience: curated competitive play, clinics with IGPL pros and coaches, official scoring, and an evening of awards, live entertainment and networking. Participants share the course with sporting icons including Yuvraj Singh, Leander Paes, Jeev Milkha Singh, Gaganjeet Bhullar, Jyoti Randhawa, Shiv Kapur, SSP Chawrasia and Gaurav Ghei.
There is a 400-year-old tree here, which is a sight to behold.
