Vijay Shankar, the veteran Indian cricketer, shared his experience with online trolling following a disappointing performance in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2026. In a recent match, Shankar faced the pressure of chasing down 22 runs in the final over but was unable to score and was dismissed on the last ball. Speaking with renowned spin-bowler Ravichandran Ashwin, Shankar described the trolling he faced as a ‘career-threatening issue,’ highlighting the emotional toll it took on him after the match.
