Trinity Rodman made it from the soccer pitch to the tennis court in time to watch boyfriend Ben Shelton in the US Open final. Shelton had to begin his first attempt to win a Grand Slam title without Rodman in the stands.
Rodman, a star for the US women’s national team, was with the Spirit for their 3-0 loss at home to Boston Legacy FC before heading north to New York.

Trinity Rodman was a prominent figure during the US Open final, cheering for Ben Shelton as he faced Alexander Zverev. Arriving near the end of Shelton’s match, which Zverev won 6-3, 7-6 (2), 5-7, 6-2, Rodman wore a shirt featuring Shelton’s face and was visibly emotional during the trophy ceremony.
Following the match, Zverev acknowledged Rodman’s presence with a light-hearted comment, saying, “Trinity, I thought you have a game today. Well done to you as well. You’re the lucky charm … not today, but usually.”
Rodman had been a consistent supporter throughout Shelton’s US Open journey, attending multiple matches, including his quarterfinal victory over defending champion Carlos Alcaraz, which ended at 3:33 a.m., marking the latest finish in US Open history.
