An H-70 helicopter from Paso Robles Airport was dispatched to assist an injured climber in western California. The helicopter crew included a pilot and a flight officer/paramedic, who also served as the hoist operator.
With support from a helicopter rescue technician (HRT) from the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, the H-70 successfully hoisted the climber to safety. After extraction, the climber was transported to an ambulance for medical attention.
