A foreign national died while being questioned at a Railway Protection Force (RPF) post at Surat railway station on the night of August 17. The individual had been detained following an altercation with fellow passengers on the Golden Temple Express. Officials confirmed the incident on Wednesday, detailing the circumstances surrounding the death during the questioning process.
The unidentified man, believed to be in his 40s, was travelling in a general coach from Mumbai to Delhi. The quarrel turned physical and he allegedly picked up a fire extinguisher and assaulted passengers with it.
