The Jharkhand High Court on Thursday stayed the notifications cancelling the 11th to 13th Jharkhand Public Service Commission ( JPSC ) Combined Civil Services Examination and the Food Safety Officer recruitment examination, along with related appointments.

Court Ruling Restores Job Prospects for 400 Candidates

A recent interim order from Justice Deepak Roushan has provided a significant boost to approximately 400 candidates affected by the state government’s abrupt cancellation of recruitment processes. This includes 342 candidates from the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and 54 from the Food Safety Officer recruitment.

The court’s ruling has temporarily halted the government’s notifications that invalidated the JPSC 11th to 13th Civil Services exams and the Food Safety Officer examinations. Additionally, the cancellation also impacted the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) examination. Advocate Sinha confirmed that the Honorable Court’s decision allows these candidates to regain hope for their career opportunities.
