Ananmay Banerjee, a 16-year-old student from Cardiff, Wales, has achieved an impressive 14 A* grades in his General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSEs). This remarkable accomplishment follows a rigorous study routine, which included waking up at 4 am daily. Ananmay, who is a student at Llanishen High School, expressed that he was “pleasantly surprised” upon receiving his results on Thursday.
“I worked very hard. I woke up at 4am every day and stuck to a strict routine. I think that was the hardest I have ever worked. It was difficult. The teen’s family went along with him to pick up his results. His parents Krish and Jyoti were very proud of the dedication their son showed, with emotions clearly running high, the report highlighted. A lot of credit goes to my teachers. Banerjee also advised younger students to make full use of their teachers and ask questions whenever they arise. The results come on GCSE results day in Wales, when thousands of students received their grades across the country. I will probably go out to eat to celebrate.”
