From rent and groceries to weekend outings and travel, Shubhi explained where their money goes and how they manage their expenses. Shubhi Khandelwal has shared a detailed breakdown of how she and her husband spend around Rs 1.7 lakh every month while living in Bengaluru.
She further explained that their travel expenses are based on their spending over the past two years. Shubhi wrote that they have been travelling together for the last two years and tracking their trip expenses, so the figure is based on what they have actually spent over that period, averaged out monthly. As a result, their average monthly expenses come to roughly Rs 1.7 lakh.
Shubhi shared that they spend around Rs 10,000 on weekend outings. Petrol and cabs account for another Rs 3,500, while they spend around Rs 3,000 on shopping and miscellaneous expenses. She said they spend around Rs 9 lakh a year travelling together, which averages out to approximately Rs 75,000 a month.
Travel is their biggest variable expense, according to Shubhi.
