BJP MLA Pannalal Shakya has ignited controversy with his recent comments suggesting that “women were behind the conflicts in which men died.” He referenced notable female figures from Indian history, including Sita, Draupadi, and Sanyogita, to draw connections between women and wars in Madhya Pradesh. His remarks were met with a challenge from fellow BJP MLA Priyanka Penchi, who stood up to contest his statements.

A recent virtual government programme focused on agriculture took a dramatic turn when a video captured a public confrontation between two legislators from the ruling BJP. This unexpected clash occurred while Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated in the session, highlighting tensions within the party during an official event.
