The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has updated the exam schedule for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’ Examination 2026. The new dates were announced on September 1, just days before the exams were originally set to begin. Along with the revised exam schedule, SSC has also released the advanced exam city intimation slips for the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’ examination. Candidates can follow these steps to check their exam city details: The SSC Stenographer examination is conducted to recruit candidates for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’ posts in various ministries, departments and offices of the Government of India. They should also check their exam city details in advance so they can plan their travel accordingly.
As per the new schedule, the SSC Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’ exams will now be held from September 9 to September 15, 2026. Earlier, the examination was scheduled to be conducted from September 9 to September 12. The SSC Stenographer Admit Card 2026 is expected to be released around two to three days before the examination. Candidates appearing for the 2026 examination should keep track of the revised schedule and download their admit cards once they are released.
The city slip has been issued around eight days before the respective examination date.
