New Delhi, The Delhi High Court will on Monday hear the CBI’s petition challenging a trial court order discharging A leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and 21 others in the liquor policy case.

CBI Challenges Discharge of Kejriwal and Others in Liquor Policy Case

On February 27, a trial court discharged former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, his deputy Manish Sisodia, and 21 others involved in the liquor policy case. The court determined that the case could not withstand judicial scrutiny and was entirely discredited.

In response, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a revision petition, arguing that the discharge order was fundamentally flawed and contained obvious errors.

Supreme Court to Hear Dismissal Applications from Former Delhi Leaders

Justice Manoj Jain is set to review applications from former Delhi Chief Minister and his deputy. They are seeking to dismiss the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) revision petition, arguing that it is not maintainable. The hearing will address the legal validity of the CBI’s actions in this ongoing case.
