The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur has officially launched the website for the IIT JAM 2027 examination. Candidates seeking to enroll in postgraduate programs through the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) can now find essential updates on the official portal at jam.iitkgp.ac.in.
IIT Kharagpur is the organizing institute for this year’s JAM. The information brochure for the examination will be released on August 22, 2026, and the online application process is set to begin on September 5, 2026.
The examination is expected to be conducted in computer-based test mode. The upcoming brochure will provide detailed information about eligibility, application fees, exam pattern, syllabus, admission process and participating institutes. The IIT JAM 2027 exam date has not been announced yet. More information is expected with the release of the information brochure on August 22. JAM 2027 will cover seven test papers, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematics and Physics.
