A collision between two cars near the PWD office in central Delhi resulted in minor injuries for six individuals, including two MLAs. The incident occurred on Sunday night, according to a report by PTI.
The Innova was carrying Anil Jha, the sitting MLA from Kirari, and Abhay Patil, an MLA from Karnataka . All six people suffered minor injuries and were taken to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital for treatment. A PCR call about the accident was received at the I.P. A police team reached the spot and found both vehicles damaged.
The accident happened around 9:30 p.m. when a car travelling from Laxmi Nagar towards ITO hit a divider, crossed the roadside railing and crashed into an Innova coming from the opposite direction, police said. The car was driven by 32-year-old Ashutosh Pandey, who was travelling with his wife and two minor children. Estate police station around 9:30 p.m.
Police said they were all stable. Police said further investigation is underway to determine exactly how the accident happened.
