ECB Security Delegation Lands In Pakistan To Check Preparations: selection and matchup outlook

A delegation from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has arrived in Pakistan to assess security arrangements for England’s upcoming tour. The team is preparing for an ODI tri-nation series that includes matches against Pakistan and Sri Lanka, starting October 18.

According to a Pakistan Cricket Board official, this visit is a standard procedure for most nations prior to touring. The ECB delegation, which includes independent security experts, will inspect all match venues, team hotels, and meet with government and PCB officials to discuss security plans for the visiting teams.

The ECB team will inspect venues and review arrangements in Lahore and Rawalpindi on Monday. The reconnaissance team will report its findings to the ECB. The PCB had earlier announced that Sri Lanka will arrive in Pakistan on October 4 for a three-match T20I series, with all three matches scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi from October 9 to 13.
